Top 5 Dresses For a Summer Wedding

5 Dress picks for a Summer wedding
I love a wedding. I love LOVE, and I love a great opportunity to dress up. This is one of the most popular times of the year to get hitched. I should know - I’m  a Marriage Celebrant too!
Summer fashion is full or gorgeous florals, bright and breezy colour palates and floaty light and soft fabrics - Cotton, satin, linen.  What’s not to love?
When choosing the perfect dress to wear to a summer wedding it’s important to factor in a few things. What time of day is the wedding itself, and the reception. What is the location, a beach, a garden, a church? Is there an actual dress code on the invitation? All of these elements will need to be considered when selecting the perfect dress to wear. After all you will want to be cool and comfortable and feel and look beautiful yourself.
Here are my 5 top picks -

The Sabre V neck Dress in Cotswolds

The Sabre dress looks great on everyone and the Cotswolds Print is feminine and romantic. A dreamy choice to a beautiful romantic garden wedding.

The Scout tiered Dress in Poppy Love

The colours in the Poppy Love are to die for. This vibrant and colourful print can’t help but make you feel happy and joyful, and the shorter, knee length dress looks great paired with a bright wedge heel. Perfect for drinks on the grass while the happy couple are having their photos taken.

The Farrah Midi Dress in Matcha

The cool floaty cotton of the Farrah Midi dress is ideal for our hot summer days. This dress with it’s soft short sleeve and calf length skirt would look beautiful for a more traditional church wedding.

The Rachel Sun Dress in Tamar Valley

Can’t you just imagine this cool and elegant sun dress at a destination wedding in the tropics. I’m getting Fiji vibes and longing for a flower in my hair and a coconut cocktail in my hand.

Adalyn Shirt Dress in Palm  Cove

Bare feet and a french manicure, sand between your toes. A beach wedding outfit that will make you feel amazing.

Above all, for those Summer Weddings to come, avoid heavy fabrics or anything too clingy.   Sandalled feet or Wedges and a colourful clutch and you’re good to go. Just don’t wear white.
