Welcome back ladies!
For the last seven years at Adrift our brand has has celebrated women and love that as women we are gifted different body shapes. Our team also believe that we should be proud to rock what we've got! You can imagine how excited I was to find the local Gold Coast swimwear label, Curvy by Capriosca Swimwear with the same passion for making sophisticated and flattering swimwear made to last. To top it off they offer a full size range of sizes 10-30, so I thought you would all allowing all of us to jump into gorgeous swimwear.
I recently sat down with the ladies at Curvy by Capriosca to talk about the best swimsuit styles to suit our body shapes. I think we can ALL agree that we love to showcase our best assets so keep reading to find lots of tips and tricks on choosing the right swimsuits to flatter your shape!
1. Let's start with a bigger bust!
For us bigger bust gals, a v-neckline is always flattering whether it be clothing or swimwear! This feature works to highlight your bust and at the same time creating the illusion of elongating your body! #winning! The ladies at Capriosca recommend the Honey Comb style which is available in both DD/E cups to an F/G cup (depending on the print). Another noteworthy feature is the ruching from the waistline to the bottom of the swimsuit. This takes away attention from our tummy area with the clever ruched stomach panel. If you love a block colour like me and a gorgeous darker colour, this style is currently available in black and navy.
2. Next up! The style perfect for a square shape with an added slimming effect!
Love to feel a little more secure in a swimsuit? The Frill Ruffle One Piece is your go-to gal, with flattering horizontal side ruching that the team at Capriosca have cleverly designed. This style features zip front detailing, that creates a sporty edge and allows you to show off a little more cleavage. The style aside, I'm all for finding swimsuits that have added benefits of more sun protection, especially during the Australia summer! I also love that the sleeves cover the little wobbly bits on the arm that some of us worry about. It really works to conceal and flatter those areas.
