Linen styles are trending this Summer season and why wouldn't they be, they're COOL, COMFORTABLE AND CLASSY!! Not to mention their organic properties and ability to be sweat free! Adrift have introduced beautiful linen styles that you might have skimmed across, so I'm jumping in with a few ways to wear my faves, how to look after them and how to rock the fabric, crinkles and all.
Let's start with my ABSOLUTE favourite, the Jairo!!
The striking Jairo dress has a beautiful shape, with capped sleeves (protective and comfortable) for Summer. The V-neckline is also a standout feature, particularly for busty ladies, this adds dimension and is simply a flattering feature! This style is suited to a straight (rectangular) body shape, being a straight-line shape. My tip is to keep this outfit simple with dainty layered jewellery and add sandals for day/wedges for night. The style speaks for itself, being beautifully cut and having detailed delicate features.
Before we move on to the next style, are you afraid of linen due to how easy it creases? I know this is a fear for most women, but that's the style and it's meant to look like this and to be relaxed! SO I SAY ROCK THEM OUT WITH CONFIDENCE!!
Maybe you prefer separates? In true Adrift style, there are many gorgeous tops in linen! Let's talk about a fave amongst our team, the Erika Top!
With 3/4 sleeves and side split detailing, the Erika Top is flattering on nearly all shapes! Being a curvy figure, I love styles with a 3/4 sleeve as they create the illusion of shape through the waist (winning ladies)! This style is also cut on the a-line, so if you're more of a pear shape, this is your girl!! If you love some bling, I recommend adding a stunner necklace or chunky earrings!! PS frock lovers, it's also available in a dress!
Last, but not least, let's talk linen pants!! There are a few options here, so I've chosen the Jordan Pant, Belize Pant and the Camille Pant!
Pants can often be a difficult one to fit depending on your height and curves! I find the Camille Pant go beautifully over the curves and fit and flatter the body. If you find yourself on the shorter side, the Jordan Pants are sublime sitting at knee length. Looking for a style you can roll up or down?! The Belize Pant have an adjustable hem feature, so depending on your height and how it sits you have this styling option. Throw on a white tee with any of these styles for a fresh, Summer, outdoorsy' vibe!!
